Cool, thanks for the info.
I figured that there would be some work around needed, seeing as how bell
owns all the lines...
I'll have to give bell back their 2wire router, so buying a new one was
already on my list.
and if I'm buying, its gotta run linux :)
As a side note, I've got the Dell inspiron 1525, which comes preloaded with
ubuntu.
and it still has myriad hardware issues.
bah!
Anyone ever gotten a laptop where everything works the year you bought it?
My mom had a t30 thinkpad and its almost perfect...
and my hpdv2120ca (worst lappy ever) finally works after two years (wout
ndiswrapper)... it was a broadcom thing.
currently on my inspiron, if you connect to an wireless-n it hangs. and
lspci dosnt even show the ethernet card, wtf is that?
Dell has their own patched kernals, which is already stupid, but that they
dont work...
really...
somthing better on the horizon i hope (i could never afford one of those
linuxcertified laptops, why are they so dear?)
k done ranting.. :)
