I have seen nginx-for-drupal, but I have always rather installed nginx
and aegir by hand because I'm afraid of all the things
nginx-for-drupal installs (webmin, redis, pdnsd, bind, tomcat, solr,
PHP from scratch instead of using distribution packages which get
security updates).

How easy is it to update PHP once installed, is there a way to not
install all the programs it mentions? Like for example if I'm not
going to use Solr, or I have a third party DNS provider or stuff like
that?
