We are seeking a JAVA developer who
wants to work with us on our web based enterprise software solution. The chosen
individual will have the opportunity to expand his skills and continuously
learn new technologies, programming languages and infrastructures while meeting
new customer requirements, adding new features to the product and contributing
to the product evolution and deployment.

The primary functions of the JAVA
DEVELOPER include:
·
Analyzing, designing, and developing
scalable and reliable Java applications using several of the Java technologies
·
Participate in the architecture and/or
the analysis of the solution -Design and develop the Java programs required to
achieve the desired functionality –
·
Participate in application deployment
into virtual environments
·
Prepare technical documentation -Work
with others to ensure a high-quality
product
Qualifications:
·
Minimum 3 – 5 years of development experience in Java
·
Proven expertise in large scale application design
and development
·
Expertise in OO design and development using Java
·
Candidates must have lots of “hands-on” development
experience and will continue to live, breath and smell Java code every day at
work.
·
Experience with XHTML, Javascript, XSL, CSS
·
Good
understanding and knowledge of Tomcat (or similar) / J2EE application server
architecture
·
Experience in
development using common open source tools for Java including JUnit, Ant,
Log4j, IDEs (Eclipse or Netbeans), etc.
·
Experience with Version and source code control
using subversion or similar tools
·
Experience with common open source frameworks
Spring, Hibernate, Struts
·
Experience with Linux environments
·
Database experience (Oracle, SQL)
·
Experience in Web development, XML standards, and
Web services
·
Knowledge of cryptography, transactional
applications, or mobile applications would be an asset
·
Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Java EE 5, Oracle 10g, Tomcat 6, Spring 3, Hibernat
3.5, Stripes 1.5.6 (will change to Struts 2) and jQuery 1.5.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
equivalent
Proficiency in English oral and written
