[MLUG] Wireless Router

I bought a couple of refurbished Linksys 150Ns recently and ran into
the same problem. Wireless-N was useless; my transfer rate would drop
to 1 Mbps not matter what I did. Switching to wireless-G helped but
only after I experimented with different channels. Though my signal
quality is less than 55% I am getting a stable 54Mbps between the
routers. The routers are configured using WDS.

You can try boosting the output power but it is not recommended to
push this too far as it will overheat the router. The best would be to
upgrade the antennas.
