[MLUG] Install fest, need help, thanks!

Except that time and energy are also devoted to
learning/using/deploying/upgrading proprietary software PLUS you have
to pay for it and cannot try most without pay.  Part of the problem is
the monopoly that Micro$oft has built and had for decades, hence most
are familiar with the proprietary stuff and do not like to change
because they will have to re-learn... even if the software is free.

There are similar Microsoft news groups etc where those who *prefer*
(I gagged a bit on that :)) Microsoft do exactly what we are doing
here and supporting Microsoft.   This LU group does not have to buy
lisences for everything  but the Microsoft group do.

All of that to say I see your point but I still think it is free in comparison.
