Accountabilities:
The UHN Health Sciences Libraries support the information needs of UHN’s clinicians, researchers, support staff and learners. Our strategic priorities include enabling innovation and learning through expert information leadership, and promoting and enabling access to the best evidence for decision-making.  We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic individual for the position of Library Digital Solutions Specialist.  The Library Digital Solutions Specialist provides leadership in the development, maintenance and support of all of the Library’s technology.  This includes our Virtual Library (LibGuides), our discovery layer (Summon), library catalogue (Library World), online reference (LibAnswers), as well as various online information resources, computer and software applications.  A key player on the Library team the Library Digital Solutions Specialist will work closely with the E-Collections and Discovery Librarian, our Information Specialists and Library Technicians. As principal liaison between the Library team, UHN Digital and the Library’s business partners, the Library Digital Solutions Specialist supports the delivery of high quality electronic resources and services to the Library’s internal and external clientele. They will also collaborate with our colleagues in the Health Sciences Information Consortium.
